Jessica Taverniti Hornbrook, MSC
Sports Counselor
Jessica Hornbrook, completed her masters of sports counseling degree from San Diego University for Integrative Studies in San Diego, and received her psychology degree at Trinity University in San Antonio Texas. Currently she is working on her doctoral degree in sports psychology from SDUIS. Her professional philosophy incorporates a clinical, counseling and sports performance modality. Her specialty areas include; sports counseling, sport relationships, psychological injury recovery, goal-setting, career transition and education about the mental importance of sport in addition to general counseling of individuals, couples, and children. Jessica also has years of experience as a behavioral therapist for children with Autism and special needs. She also is certified in administering The Assessment and Interpersonal Style, TAIS a (Sports Psychology assessment) developed by Dr. Robert Nideffer.
Jessica is a lifelong multi-sport athlete, and was a member of two NCAA collegiate tournament teams for women's soccer. Within her practice she displays an invigorating and caring passion for supporting clients in both everyday life as well as sport participation.
